The architectural plan is titled, Cottage in Shakespeare Terrace, Napier.
The plan shows the front elevation and floor plan. The floor plan layout has four bedrooms, one sleeping verandah, one dressing room, a drawing room, hall, entrance hall, kitchen and piazza. Outside is the WC and washhouse. There are two pencil drawings of fireplaces in the buildings. J A Louis Hay's stamp is embossed on the top right hand corner.
