Brief Description
The certificate was awarded to James Akers by Hither Green Ambulance Corps under the auspices of the S E & C R Centre of the St John Ambulance Association, No 2 District. It was awarded to James in appreciation of valuable services rendered in Air Raid Duties during the Great War, 1914 - 1918. The certificate was designed and drawn by A G Mattocks, Walthamstow.
