About this object
The sculptor at work designing the bronze statue of Pania. Written on the back of the photograph is: The mould from which the plaster figure is cast. After retouching the plaster the process is repeated to obtain the mould for the bronze figure.
The statue was made at the Italian Marble Company, Carrara in Italy. The sculptor's name is unknown.
