About this object
The negative is a group portrait of the Moteo Jazz Band, Hawke's Bay. There are nine men and one woman playing musical instruments. The band's insignia can be seen on the face of the drum.

The band members have been identified as follows:
Back row, left to right: Dave Karauria, Dusky (Whiuwhiu) Pineaha, Harry Brown, Peter Rawiri, Johnson Grey
Front row, left to right: Adam Kawhe, Tom Rawiri, Martin Taihaere-Wepa, Polly Nepe, Jerry Wepa.

I know it's too late but I finally found a photocopy of this image and I have the names of the all the band members.
