About this object
The glass plate negative is a group portrait of unidentified people at Tokaanu. The portrait shows six women, one man and children. All are dressed in European clothing. The negative has been taken outdoors. Tokaanu was a settlement located at the south end of Lake Taupō, five kilometres west of Tūrangi.
