A photograph of the Country Queen float that featured in the Blossom Week procession held in Hastings on 13 September 1952. The procession was held as part of the Hastings and District War Memorial Appeal, Queen Carnival Campaign. The float is decorated with wool and spring flowers. The Country Queen, Mrs Gladys Elizabeth Jane Hudson (née Lyons) is seated on the float. Juliet Barker, who was one of the Country Queen's flower girls, can be seen seated at her feet.
