The Te Pohue Hotel visitors book contains signatures and addresses of people who stayed at the hotel from 1 August 1962 - 25 June 1965. Included are several comments about the visitor's experience.
Items of interest in the visitor book are: Flood night, which occurred on 3 June 1963 and New Zealand's Governor General, Sir Bernard Fergusson, his wife Lauren and son Geordie who signed the book on 11 February 1964.
Joan and Dave Evans were the owners of the Te Pohue Hotel between the years 1962 - 1965.
