Brief Description
The booklet titled: The New Napier A Place of Beauty and Perpetual Sunshine contains images taken by A B Hurst.

The images would have been taken before 1936 as the Athenaeum is still standing on the corner of Browning and Herschell Streets. The Hawke's Bay Art Gallery and Museum replaced the Athenaeum in 1936.

The photographs are of the central business district of Napier and Marine Parade. Included is an image of Westshore and Cape Kidnappers.
