Brief Description
a) Napier West Parish Annual Report for 1979 - 1980. This report opens with a foreword by Reverend Alan Goss and Reverend Tom Corkill, followed by reports from the Parish Council and Session, St Peter's Women's Club, Property and Finance Committee, Christian Education Committee, Thrift Shop, Church and Community Committee, Girls' Brigade, St David's branch of the Association of Presbyterian Women, St Peter's Cradle Roll and the Napier West Treasurer's Report including statements recording the income and expenditure for the year ended 30 June 1979.
b) Minutes of the Seventh Annual Meeting of Napier West Parish held in St Peter's Church on Sunday 10th August 1980. These minutes record the presentations of the annual reports from Parish Council and Session, Property and Finance, Finance, and the Church and Community Committee. Other matters include discussion on the Review and Renew programme, advertising of Sunday services in the newspaper and the election of Office Bearers and appointment of members to the various committees. Those who had died during the year were remembered in a moment of silence and prayer: George Kean, Gladys Sellar, Doris Senator, Jack Coddington, Irene McNiven, William Carmichael, Alice Flannery, Eric Watt, Carmel Watt and Cyril Robinson.
