Brief Description
Permits given by the District Lands and Survey Office of Napier authorising the surveying of Native Lands by Rochfort, Son and Thompson circa 1918.

All permits are addressed to Guy Rochfort.

a) Permit dated 8 January 1919 allowing the surveying of Native Land in Te Whare-O-Maraenui in the Heretaunga Survey District with an area of 10 acres. Signed as authority number 903 by W F Marsh.

b) Permit dated 8 January 1919 allowing the surveying of Native Land in Ngatarawa Block 2E5 in the Heretaunga and Te Mata Survey Districts with an area of 168 acres, 3 chains and 37 perches. Signed as authority number 902 by W F Marsh.

c) Permit dated 7 December 1918 allowing the surveying of Native Land in Pakuratahi Block 1 in the Puketapu and Tangoio Survey Districts with an area of 1025 acres. Signed as authority number 894 by John Cook.

d) Permit dated 17 September 1918 allowing the surveying of Native Land in Waipawa Blocks 3, 109, 110, 146 and 149 and in the Waihua Survey District with an area of 3, 12, 23, 18 and 84 acres respectively. Signed as authority number 889 by W F Marsh.

e) Permit dated 23 September 1918 allowing the surveying of Native Land in Waihua Blocks 2C7 and 1C6 in the Waihua Survey District with an area of 28 and 300 acres respectively. Signed as authority number 892 by W F Marsh.

f) Permit dated 23 September 1918 allowing the surveying of Native Land in Waipapa Block 54 in the Waihua Survey District with an area of 6 acres and 3 chains. Signed as authority number 893 by W F Marsh.

g) Permit dated 23 August 1918 allowing the surveying of Native Land in Eparaima Block H and H1 in the Motuotaraia Survey District with an area of 49 and 15 acres respectively. Signed as authority number 876 by W F Marsh.

h) Permit dated 12 January 1918 allowing the surveying of Native Land in Pukerowhitu Block 2 in the Maraekakaho Survey District with an area of 106 acres, 1 chain and 7 perches. Signed as authority number 820 by John Cook.

i) Permit dated 21 March 1918 allowing the surveying of Native Land in Waipuka Block 3B1B in the Kidnappers Survey District with an area of 118 acres and 29 perches. Signed as authority number 840 by John Cook.

j) Permit dated 21 March 1918 allowing the surveying of Native Land in Poupoutahi Block D in the Maraekakaho Survey District with an area of 62 acres, 2 chains and 12 perches. Signed as authority number 839 by John Cook.
