About this object
Informal portrait of Sir Robert Donald Douglas Maclean. Maclean stands in conversation with a second man. It has been suggested that this man is possibly George Prior Donnelly. The photograph is thought to have been taken at the Recreation Ground on Carlyle Street. A pipe band can be seen behind the two men on the left side of the photograph. The date of the photograph is uncertain.
