Full length studio portrait of the Roberts sisters. The group of six women are posed in two rows in front of a painted backdrop. The three women in the front row are seated. The woman in the back row on the left is Miss Elizabeth Roberts, who married David Paton Balfour in 1876. The family are thought to have lived in Springfield, Hawke's Bay.
