A studio portrait cabinet photograph of Constable Thomas Harvey, a police officer, Napier. Mr Harvey is seated and wears his police uniform including hat and whistle. His long service medal is visible pinned to the left breast of his jacket. He holds a pair of white gloves. There is a descriptive note pasted on the back of the card from the Acme Fine Art Company, Christchurch. The note appears to be giving details for a painted portrait.
