Brief Description
Various government-related booklets circa 1990.

a) Booklet entitled The Paths to Nationhood as a guide to the Constitution Room in the Archives New Zealand building. Booklet is separated into sections such as a description of archives on display, history of the Treat of Waitangi, background to regional and nation government, Māori representation, electoral reform and Dominion status and beyond.

Text also in Māori in full.

b) Booklet entitled Searching a Title serving as a guide to obtaining copies of documents held by the Land Registry Office of the Justice Department. Gives a list of available services and contact information for various branches throughout New Zealand.

c) Booklet entitled An Introduction to Napier District Office giving a description of services offered by the Department of Survey and Land Information. Includes a mission statement, contact information and two inset maps showing locations of branches in Napier and the Hawke's bay region.

d) Booklet entitled Protect Our Past for the Future published by the Department of Internal Affairs. Booklet gives a brief description and powers of the Antiquities Act 1975 and includes contact information for the department.

e) Civic Report published by the Napier City Council for October 2000. Includes events around the city and contact information for local councillors.
