Mid-length studio portrait of a man and a woman, possibly taken in the late nineteenth century. The couple are thought to be Mr Matthew Robertson Miller and his wife. Mr Millar stands on the left side of the photograph with his right hand resting on the back of the chair. To his left, Mrs Millar is seated with her right arm resting on a table.
