Portrait of a marching team, thought to have been taken in Napier at the Interhouse Championships, North Island Contest, in 1946. The team is posed in rows in front of a wall. The sitters are identified on the mount as:
Back row (from left to right): M Johnson, Nola Skittrup, Doris McKenzie, Menai Owen, Noeleen Smith, Jean Scott, and Coach Oscar Brock.
Middle row: Norma Hearn. Front row (from left to right): Lesley Lockwood (front), D Phillips, Margaret Alexander, H Pointon, Joan Mason, Corinne Webster, and Phyllis Gurney (front).
Four trophies are displayed in front of the group. The team was possibly sponsored by the RSA.
