About this object
An outdoor group portrait photograph of guests at a garden party held at the home of Dr Frederic de Lisle, Te Moemoea, Hastings. Several of the subjects are identified at the bottom of the card with corresponding numbers written on the print surface. Dr de Lisle is seated crossed legged on the ground in the centre front of the group. Mrs de Lisle is directly behind him slightly to the right. Sir William Russell wears a bowler hat in the back row and seated in front of him to the right wearing a dressed flat brim hat is his wife, Lady Russell.
