View of Market Reserve Building on the corner of Hastings Street and Tennyson Street, Napier, taken during the reconstruction of the central city after the Hawke's Bay earthquake in 1931. The steel frame of the building has been put in place. Workmen can be seen on the site. Hurst's Building and the spire of St Patrick's Church can be seen in the distance on the right side of the photograph.
