View of the Ahuriri Post Office taken after the Hawke's Bay earthquake in 1931. The building partially collapsed as a result of the quake. The premises of Barry Brothers is located to the right of the post office building. The surrounding streets are covered with rubble. The premises of Shell Company New Zealand Limited is visible in the distance.
