About this object
A photograph of the Junior Cadets from Otane, Waipawa and Waipukurau taken in Waipawa, 8 March 1912. The photograph is taken from an elevation looking down on a parade area near the tennis courts of Waipawa High School. The unidentified young men and boys are dressed in uniform and standing in formation. The group at the left are holding rifles at their shoulders. Several young women are visible in the background of the image either holding tennis rackets or standing under a stand of trees.
