About this object
A group portrait photograph of the Te Awa Swimming and Life-Saving Club Water Polo Team. The group pictured were winners of the Hawke's Bay Championship, 1936-37 and the Henry Williams Memorial Cup. The subjects are dressed in swimming costumes with their arms folded across their chests. They are identified at the bottom of the card as: Back row: G A Coutts; J Rossiter; F Austin. Front row: S Boardman; J Dallimore; T W Ireland, Captain; D P Hutton.
