View of the intersection of King Street and Heretaunga Street, Hastings, taken following the Hawke's Bay earthquake in 1931. The photograph has been taken from King Street, looking north east. The Napier Gas Company building is visible on the opposite side of the intersection. Signage for Land's for Bags is visible on the façade. The intersection is covered with rubble.
