Full length portrait of a small boy, possibly taken in the late nineteenth century. He stands with his right hand resting on the seat of a chair. His left hand is in his pocket.

The photograph is housed in an album containing photographs of members of the Langley and Thayer families. The name Phil has been handwritten beneath the photograph on the album page, indicating that the child is possibly Philip Langley.
