A photograph of central Napier taken from Bluff Hill following the Hawke's Bay earthquake on 3 February 1931. Among the buildings that are visible in the photograph are the Athenaeum, the Council Chambers, the Hannah's Building, Williams and Kettle, the AMP Building, the Waiapu Diocese Offices and the Bank of New Zealand.
