About this object
A group of three photographs stitched together to form a panoramic view. The photographs were taken from the base of Shakespeare Road looking along Hastings Street after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on 3 February 1931. Visible in the photograph is the site of the former Napier Post Office, the Bank of New Zealand and, at the extreme left, rubble from the AMP Building.
