About this object
A photographic postcard of two memorials at the corner of Carroll and Crarer Streets in Wairoa. The left monument has the inscription: A Memento of Affection From European and Māori Friends To the Memory of Thomas Carroll October 19th 1904 Lest we forget. There is an inscription in Māori on the other face. The monument in the background was erected in the memory of Reverend Henare Wepiha Te Wainohu, Vicar of Wairoa.
