Brief Description
The following documents are letters from the Hawke's Bay Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand to Napier West Parish, February 1985 to May 1986.
a) A letter to all Parish Treasurers from Alex Crocket, Convenor of the Property and Finance Committee, Presbytery of Hawke's Bay, 11 February 1985. This letter concerns the gathering of financial information for the forecasting of the Wider Work Budget.
b) A letter to Mr Marshall from Alex Crocket, Convenor of the Property and Finance Committee, Presbytery of Hawke's Bay, 21 June 1985. This letter concerns the Wider Work Budget for 1985/1986 and the allocation of $19,802 to be remitted by Napier West Parish.
c) A letter to all Parish Treasurers from Alex Crocket, Convenor of the Property and Finance Committee, Presbytery of Hawke's Bay, 18 February 1986. This letter concerns the gathering of income forecasts and requests an indication as to whether the parish is to meet their budget allocation. It includes a summary of Napier West's contributions as at 31 January 1986 and a reply-form for indicating how much the church will have contributed by the end of the financial year.
Attached to this letter is a spreadsheet showing the 1985/1986 Assembly Budget contributions of the Hawke's Bay Presbytery as at 28 February 1986. It lists the contributions of each of the fourteen parishes that make up the Presbytery.
d) A letter to Mr K R Marshall from Alex Crocket, Convenor of the Property and Finance Committee, Presbytery of Hawke's Bay, 18 February 1986. This letter concerns the financial shortfall of the Outreach Budget for the year 1985/1986 and addresses the wider difficulties faced by the church at a national level.
