View of a commercial premises, thought to be the photography shop operated by George Henry Swan (1833-1913) on Hastings Street in Napier. Five men pose for the photograph outside of the single storey building, which is clad in weatherboard and has a shingle roof. The photograph is thought to have been taken in 1862.
