About this object
The photograph features Alfred Ocean Lambert the second with his bullock team on the beach at Herbertville, on the coast south of Porangahau. The bales of wool were being carted down the coast to be loaded on the Lighters to carry them to the waiting coastal vessels anchored off Cape Turnagain.
