About this object
The photograph features earthquake damage to the band rotunda and the Masonic Hotel on Marine Parade, Napier following the 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake. There is a group of people standing on the road in front of the rotunda and cars at left and right. It is noted on the back of the photograph that the building was pulled down and two bodies were found.
