A photograph of naval officers amongst building debris on Heretaunga Street in Hastings following the Hawke's Bay earthquake of 3 February 1931. The photograph is taken immediately outside the premises of Wilson Shoe Company. Signage for Johnson's drapery and emporium is also visible in the image.
