A photograph of earthquake victims being fed at a temporary camp following the Hawke's Bay earthquake of 3 February 1931. Men are standing holding plates at the left of the image. One man wears a blanket about his shoulders. At the right of the image a group of nurses are standing. In the right foreground a man stands side on drinking from a mug. A tent and a white picket fence are visible in the background of the image.
