About this object
A photograph of St John's Cathedral in Napier taken after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. The photograph is thought to have been taken from the west door, looking towards Hastings Street. The Waiapu Diocese Office Building can be seen at the right. The Hannah's Building on Hastings Street can be seen in the distance. A note on the back of the photograph states that a marble fountain is located in the foreground.
