About this object
A photograph of the Memorial Clock Tower in Taradale taken after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. The clock tower, located at the Taradale end of Gloucester Street, developed a lean of 0.76 metres but was able to be restored by the original designer John Ellis.
