About this object
View of the Briasco’s Building built 1930 on Emerson Street, Napier, taken following the Hawke's Bay earthquake in 1931. The photograph has been taken from Emerson Street looking towards the Dalton Street intersection prior to the reconstruction of the surrounding buildings. Damage to the Briasco’s Building is visible, including scorch marks.
