A photograph of a team of horses at Napier Racecourse. Men stand at the top of an earth bank with the horses that are tied in teams of two. Pitched tents that were used to house refugees following the Hawke's Bay earthquake of 3 February 1931 can be seen in the background. One of the spectator stands is visible at the back right of the image.
