A photograph of nurses with patients who are in bed, possibly taken following the Hawke's Bay earthquake of 3 February 1931. The photograph is taken outside in front of a building. Two patients are lying in iron framed beds and one is seated. Three nurses in uniform and a man in a suit, possibly a doctor, stand behind the heads of the bed.
