A photograph of the damage to the Bank of New South Wales building in Eketahuna resulting from the Wairarapa earthquake of 23 June 1942. Cracks are visible in the right hand side of the building. Large sections of masonry along the roof line have been dislodged. The business premises of Yew Key, green grocer, is visible at the left of the bank.
