About this object
A photograph depicting Napier Harbour Board shed E on Breakwater Road taken after land slips resulting from the Hawke's Bay earthquake of 3 February 1931. Large boulders are visible on the road at the base of the hill. Cranby's store shows through the canopy of E shed at the corner of Hornsey Road. An advertising sign can be seen reading: Renown Coal, The Hot Favourite...Distributors for C H Cranby and Co. At the right of the image an advertisement for Fishoilene is visible.
