A panoramic photograph of the intersection of Hastings and Emerson Streets, Napier, taken during the reconstruction of the city after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. The Criterion Hotel stands on the right side of the intersection. The Market Reserve Building, completed in 1932, is visible on the extreme right.
