About this object
Group portrait taken at a picnic, possibly in the early twentieth century. The group consists of nine adult women and five children. The woman wearing black who is seated near the centre of the group is possibly Agnes Chegwidden. The two boys standing behind her are thought to be her sons, Bill on the left and Arthur on the right. The photograph appears to have been taken in Days Bay, Wellington.
