About this object
View of the Parliamentary Library, Wellington. The photograph has been taken at night looking towards the front façade of the building. The building is decorated with lights. The lights were possibly installed as part of the celebrations that were held to mark the arrival of William Lee Plunket, 5th Baron Plunket, who became the Governor General of New Zealand in 1904, a position that he held until 1909.
