About this object
View of a dining room in a house on Waripori Street in Berhampore, Wellington.

At the time that the photograph was taken the house is thought to have belonged to William and Agnes Chegwidden. The photograph has been taken looking towards one corner of the room. A fireplace with a carved timber mantelpiece is located along one wall. A timber dresser is located to the left of the fireplace. The walls of the room have been hung with patterned wallpaper.

A note on the album page reads: Dining-room. Waripori St.
