About this object
View of the Clive Flood Memorial, on the corner of Marine Parade and Byron Street, Napier, possibly taken in the first decade of the twentieth century. The esplanade is lined with young Norfolk Island Pines. Tree guards surround the base of each of the pines. The Napier foreshore and Cape Kidnappers are visible in the background. A young boy stands on one of the basins that is located on the side of the memorial.
