About this object
A photograph of Dickens Street in Napier taken ten days after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. The premises of Dalgety and Company, which was situated on the corner of Dickens and Dalton Streets, is located along the right side of the street. On the left is a building with a dome roof. This is the Foresters Hall. Tram lines run along the street.
