About this object
A photograph of a group of men beginning the clean up in Hastings after the Hawke's Bay earthquake on the 3rd of February 1931. The group stand near the intersection of King and Heretaunga Streets. Behind the men are the ruins of the Cosy Theatre. Land's Bag Shop can be seen on the extreme right.
