Brief Description
a) The Studio: A Magazine of Fine and Applied Art, volume 90, number 392, was published on 14 November 1925 and edited by Geoffrey Holme. The magazine contains numerous advertisements for art exhibitions, publications, galleries, manufacturers, art supplies and art schools, as well as illustrated articles, exhibition and book reviews. The name Bernard Leach is written in pencil on the front cover. The frontispiece and several other pages are missing.

The contents include: The Work of John Platt, an article by Frank Morley Fletcher; Modern Viennese Hand-Made Lace, an article by A S Levetus; James Durden, an article by Jessica Walker Stephens; Mrs Gertrude Massey's Water-Colours, an article by Herbert B Grimsditch, M A; The Pottery of Mr Bernard Leach, an article by Michael Cardew; Three Etchings by Nicolai Hammer, an article by Georg Bröchner; Shop-Fronts at the Paris Exhibition of Decorative Art; Harry Maasz, Garden Architect, an article by Jarno Jessen; Notes from correspondents in London, Hatfield, Shrewsbury, Edinburgh, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Tokyo, Budapest and Buenos Aires; Reviews; Correspondence.
