A photograph of a young woman identified as Dot with a child called Tare taken in the grounds of St Hilda's Children's Home, Otane, between 1919 and 1920. Dot is standing with Tare on her back in a piggy back pose. Both Dot and Tare appear to be laughing.
The photograph is in an album containing images of the children who were living at the Anglican orphanage from 1919 to 1920.
The photograph is attributed to Miss Edith Waller who was Matron of St Hilda's at the time.
