A photograph of two children identified as Hillary and Tare taken at St Hilda's Children's Home, Otane, between 1919 and 1920. Hillary is standing holding Tare by the legs on her back in a piggy back stance, their heads turned toward the camera. The children stand in front of a white picket fence and gate with a partial view of the villa used as the children's home in the background.
The photograph is in an album containing images of the children who were living at the Anglican orphanage from 1919 to 1920.
The photograph is attributed to Miss Edith Waller who was Matron of St Hilda's at the time.
