Brief Description
Letters from Leo Bestall to the Honorary Mr C M Bowden, Minister of Customs, dated 7, 12 and 20 December 1950.
The subjects of the letters are two young German women, Eva-Maria Schnitzler and Ruth Kronenberg, whom Leo Bestall and his wife met while on a visit to Germany. Bestall is asking Mr Bowden approval of the entry of the two women into New Zealand.
All letters are on Bestall's Drapery Limited letterhead paper.
